TUESDAY'S QUILT

My first "rag" baby quilt for my great-niece Tuesday. I'm not too good (yet) at laying out the design - I could have made the squares smaller and had more patterns. But it's a pretty pink girly "owl" quilt, and hopefully she will enjoy it. I love flannel and this is Riley Blake from Fabric.com. "Happy Flapper." I also ordered another 3 yards of the pink and 3 yards of blue. I had way more patterned squares than solid pinks so I may make another one for a future niece or someone. It was fun. The seam edge clipping went faster than I expected. The back is like the front only smooth. It's two layers of flannel.
